This is my entry for a contest by Shara-Moonglow. The contest is to take one of her characters and put that character into period clothing. I chose the magic wolf Juno [link] . Because her name was the same as the Roman goddess, I decided to put her in a Romanesque setting. Wolves don't wear much clothing so I settled for a head dress with a gold crown and jingle-jangle coin fringe. This work consists of exactly 100 hand cut pieces of paper, colored with Sharpie markers, metallic gel inks and acrylic paints so it's sort of a collage as well as a drawing. Unfortunately, scanning can't pick up the shiny or sparkly element of the inks so part of the beauty is lost. I had fun doing this and I hope she likes it.
